Many patients refuse to use ECG monitoring. The big reason is that they think ECG monitoring is meaningless. The monitor manufacturers believe that the cost of monitoring is high and the financial burden cannot be afforded, so they have the idea of refusing to cooperate with treatment. Don't mention financial issues in front of patients, communicate with family members, and give patients peace of mind. The patient's condition is stable. After obtaining the doctor's consent, the patient with financial difficulties can stop using the ECG monitor.

(2) Do you consider providing a good environment for patients?

In the process of understanding with patients, we found that some patients refused to use ECG monitoring because the signal sounds of the monitor, such as the rhythm of the heartbeat, the alarm, etc., made the patient irritable, produced tension and depression, and affected the patient's rest and sleep. We nurses should monitor the monitor back to the patient to reduce adverse sensory stimuli. Briefly explain the meaning of alarm sounds, ECG waveforms, and parameters to patients and their families, and eliminate the patient's nervousness and depression. Centrally arrange nursing operations, and use the CLP monitor to observe ECG changes.

We also find that many patients suspect that the monitor line is too much and it is inconvenient to move on the bed. During the ECG monitoring process, the monitor manufacturer connected multiple electrodes, lead wires, and other catheters to the patient, making it impossible to rotate the body at will, making it difficult to take a comfortable position, and causing the patient to feel numbness and discomfort. At this time, the nursing staff should arrange the lead wire, and the excessively long part can be fixed to the bed head in a circular coil. At the same time, unnecessary tangles should be avoided. The remaining length of the lead wire cannot affect the patient's turning over and bed limb movement. The condition allows the lead wire to be appropriately extended to allow the patient to get out of bed to defecate at the bedside.
